A Local’s Current Guide to New York City

My husband and I moved to New York City just over a year ago! I still can’t believe that we have lived here through the two Winters, a lovely Spring, a tiresomely humid Summer and a gorgeous Fall already.

It has been a dream to explore this wonderful, confusing, chaotic, all consuming city. I’d love to bring you all along with me, and share my tips for the best food, the best coffee, the best bookstores, and of course the best ivy-covered walls and doors that you can find in the city.

I will definitely continue updating this website with my newest finds and favorites in the city – such as the ten most romantic restaurants, the ten best coffee shops and so on! However, the quickest way to share information is through Instagram (let’s face it, we are all on it way more than we should be).

Yesterday’s pretty surprise was the cherry blossoms outside the Museum of Natural History on the Upper West Side! There is a well placed bench right under the blossoms, and almost no crowds there during weekday lunch times. Perfect lil spot for a quick picnic! . . . . . . . #facadelovers #bitsofbuildings #doortraits #ihaveathingforwalls #ihavethisthingwithdoors #theprettycities #loves_nyc #travelerinnewyork #newyork_ig #topnewyorkphoto #thisisnewyorkcity #made_in_ny #prettycitynewyork #mysecretnyc #empirestateofmind #lifeinnewyork #newyorker #nycdotgram #nycityworld #what_i_saw_in_nyc #streetsofnyc #pictures_of_newyork #seeyourcity #lppostcards #TLPicks #prettylittletrips #iamtb #cherryblossoms ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #pursuepretty #dtbehindthelens
